Vipassana meditation – For beginners and advanced practitioners
Wednesdays 18:30-20:00 Vipassana, insight meditation, is a Buddhist meditation practice for awakening and liberation. By being aware of the present moment, the practice of Vipassana meditation gives us understanding and acceptance of our nature and the nature of all things.
The practice is done by walking and by sitting while being aware of every sensation that is going through the body and mind and consciously naming it. In these classes you will be given clear instructions for the practise. Together we will discuss this method and our experiences.
Moran Cohen has practiced meditation for many years. She was travelling around the world looking for wisdom and practiced a long time Vipassana in a monastery in Thailand . She is a member of ‘Tovana'. For more information: Moran Cohen 054-2033323

STORY TELLING - a CHANNEL for HEALING & TRANSFORMATION
Once upon a time Truth and Story were both standing in the market place. Story though, was surrounded by people, while Truth stood alone. Story felt sorry for Truth. Story was dressed in splendid finery. She offered to lend Truth, who was dressed in a simple linen garment, some of her finery. Truth borrowed a colourful silk scarf, and some exotic feathers. Soon Truth, too, was surrounded by an audience. (Maggid of Dubnow, Jewish Tradition )
Story has been used for generations to convey ideas and profound truths. During the workshop, we'll listen, and experience stories that explore universal healing techniques and transformational qualities.
We'll travel from England to Eastern Europe & onto Afghanistan. We'll meet King Arthur , and Sir Gwain, and of course, Rebbe Nachman, and have tea with Sufi and Jewish spiritual masters, and we'll bump into Holy Fools, and laugh, and wise Mystics will greet us along our journey.
We may use some music, visualization or creative fairy tale wisdom (though I doubt there'll be time to delve into them all in one session) to reach a profound place within our own hearts, learning tools that will help us to heal our fractured world.
We'll see how universal characters in classic tales healed and transformed their relationships, and became healthier, and more evolved beings in the process. This workshop is facilitated by Hanna Jaffe, storyteller, and singer. To read more about her work please visit www.stories4peace.org or call 0547-922-969

ThetaHealing course - 23-25/6
becoming a Therapist in a 3 days course
is best described as focused thought and prayer. ThetaHealing is a truth - a technique that teaches how to put to use our natural intuition, relying upon unconditional love of Creator Of All That Is to do the actual “work”. We believe by changing your brain wave cycle to include the “Theta” state, you can actually watch the “Creator Of All That Is” create instantaneous physical and emotional healing.
with Merav Angel who learned with Vianna Stibal - who discovered ThetaHealing.
