"There are only two difficulties on the path of meditation.
One is the ego. The second is your constantly chattering mind." - Osho

Silent Meditation:
After a short introduction and explanation we will sit still together and focus on breathing. This is a simple and effective meditation to find stillness while observing thoughts and uncomfortable feelings.
After 50 minutes of silent sitting we will have a short time for sharing.
Jewish Meditation:
Jewish meditation is not called "meditation" in the Jewish Scriptures; it is rather called "observation", "silencing", or "returning". It is described as a way to increase our awareness and intention before prayer. In this class we will learn some basic ideas and ways of spiritual practice from the Kabala and Hasidism. We will make space in ourselves to let God enter.
Kundalini meditation:
Probably the most popular meditation among the active meditations, designed by one of the greatest spiritual teachers of India, Osho:
”Many meditative techniques require one to sit still and be silent. But for most of us accumulated stress in our body/mind makes that difficult. Before we can hope to access our inner powerhouse of consciousness, we need to let go of our tensions.
Osho Active Meditations have been scientifically designed by Osho over a period of time to enable us to consciously express and experience repressed feelings and emotions, and learn the knack of watching our habitual patterns in a new way.”
This meditation lasts for one hour and has four stages, three with music and the last without. Great meditation for beginners and advanced meditators.
Kundalini acts like an energetic shower, softly shaking you free of your day and leaving you refreshed and mellow. |
